Often I find that I am being accused of trying to calculate everything around me and all the possible outcomes. :( I don't agree with that. I think that admitting that there may be more than one way for things to turn out, and trying your best to be ready to run with it when it comes up, is smart. You can never have a contingency plan for every out come but you can be prepared if the option fails. All I'm saying is that the old adage may be true. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. :)

Myspace.com/OliMusicNow
Right now there is an awful lot of ridiculousness on the radio that is calling itself music. Recently I heard this new Tank track, on it was a new singer by the name of Oli. Ya'll need to check out his my space and let me (or him I guess) know what you think. I heard he writes and sings. Check him out at www.myspace.com/OliMusicNow I think it is a refreshing change from a lot of what I have been hearing lately.
My new hair
I just wanted to share my new hair with every one. Toni' Alicia did it for me. Let me tell you that girl is talented! She models, acts and she does hair! What's not to love? Recently some one asked me what is happiness to a woman. Honestly I don't know that I can answer that for any one other than myself. So in attempt to answer that I'm gonna say that happiness is being honest about what you want and need and being pro-active about going after it. I don't even know if that's a valid explanation but it makes sense to me. What do you think?

Cool People
Today I spent the working on a new project that I will be producing with my friend Fredo. (Alfredo Rosa of freedommovementatl.com, he super rocks!) As usual when Fredo and I get together great things happen. We do fabulously fun things and meet incredible people. Today we met Erica and Nandi at the Lane Bryant store at Stone Crest Mall. How often do you run into hilarious people who can you can actually talk too and laugh with after just meeting them? I now realize that I always meet cool people when I am out with some one fun. In other words bring your own wonderful, positive and upbeat attitude with you when you go out into the world and it will only attract like minded people to you. Make every day the best you can!

The journey
I used to think that happiness would fall in my lap in some kind of expected order. In my mind I would be truly happy when I could pull up to my own house, have a large rock (of some exotic kind as I am over traditional wedding diamonds right now) on my left ring finger and open the door to my mini clone children and perfect spouse. The closer I get to seeing those realities the more misguided I feel for thinking that happiness has a formula. To be perfectly honest I have a real grown up job now and I can both afford and qualify for a mortgage. But I don't want it. Not yet. I like my apartment, I like being on my own and doing things at my pace and on my own schedule. I guess I just realized that even with out the white picket fence and two point five children I am living the American dream. I am making a way for my self and enjoying every moment of it. For me the journey to my ever afters is proving to be quite wonderful.
